Out of the way but free shuttle bus into Innsbruck. Food in restaurant is not the best, 27 euros for three course but I didn’t think it was good value, food like school dinners. (I eat out a lot so maybe I’m fussy).
 I wasn’t informed of the ‘rules’ for the table system so got ‘told off’ by the waitress Angela for taking some man’s table & think that she needs training on how to speak to guests as she embarrassed me in front of others in the dining area. The chalk boards on the table with names are so out of date & other people were telling me they felt the same. 
Regarding staff members Jeffrey and Nicholas were great bar staff, kind and made us feel at ease and Monika in the office helped me with a problem of missing ski’s. I would say Monika is a credit to this company of Innsbruck hotels and was very professional and really helped me. 
 I would give this hotel a 2 star rating, I think that there needs to be better management in the food area. The area was clean, there was basic selection of food but it was better than the evening meal selection.  
Our room was cleaned really well, the sauna, steam and pool area were lovely & kept well. 
I would not stay here again as just thought that the restaurant system is very outdated.

Outdated restaurant system

Stayed for a 3 night break, half board. Lovely hotel in a gorgeous village. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and nice food. The pool and spa were a welcome addition. Would definitely visit again. We don't ski but we enjoyed walks in local area. There are regular buses and trams, public transport is excellent. Spoke to some other holiday makers who said the skiing was good. Definitely recommend.

Short break to take in the scenery of Austris, short transfer from Innsbruck Airport was a bonus. Igls is a lovely village.

Check in was a little hectic but it was with a tour group Geoffrey the young barman was pleasant and went beyond to make our experience perfect  breakfast was ok at best but nothing really to complain about our room was clean and tidy and nice soft pillows and mattress location is not the best if you don’t have transport but I would stay here again if I was ever to visit Austria again

Hotel Bon Apina Austria

We drove up the mountain behind the ski jump to the town of Igls and checked into Bon Alpina. The hotel is actually not in downtown Innsbruck. It was after 1800 when we checked into our room, 405.  Nice sized room with two single beds pushed together. The pillows were very flat and of not much value. We had a nice size desk with an overhead light and electrical outlets. We only had one rack for a suitcase, we had to place mine on the floor. The bathroom was a tub/shower. Where the floor from our room joined the hallway there was a half inch lip that was a tripping hazard. We were with a tour group and we were served dinner in a separate area from the other guests starting with a nice salad. Breaded chicken breast and boiled potatoes served next with dessert being ice cream with a waffle coating. We had purchased a glass of wine at the bar before dinner, and it was a very ample pour for a reasonable price.
