Hotel Gardenia

Passo Tonale

Overall we had an absolutely fantastic week at Gardenia, nice cosy intimate vibes from a lovely family run hotel! We were very well looked after by all of the friendly, helpful staff and had a really enjoyable time, I’ve been skiing 14 times and this has become one of my favourite hotels!

Ski facilities- fantastic ski locker room with plenty of space for skis, boots, poles, hats, gloves and snoods, heated aswell so lovely in the morning! A private gardenia taxi service to take you up to the slopes was perfect saves a walk and carrying skis, just give Claudio a call when finished for the day and he’ll collect you asap!

Spa - the spa was very impressive, looks new and modern, lovely place to relax and unwind after a day of skiing with facilities like steam rooms, a sauna and plenty of comfy places to sit.

Bar area - the bar area was one of my favourite parts of the hotel, perfect for a social drink before heading in for the evening meal, complimentary snacks (crisps, bruschetta, toasties etc) on the bar were a lovely touch and delicious!

Room - the room is only thing I can criticise at gardenia, we had a standard double room. The room could do with a bit of modernising, it is worn and needs a bit of love. That being said there was plenty of space for all of your clothes, a nice view of the mountain from the balcony and if like us you only use the room for sleeping and changing it’s not a big deal!

Dining - a great selection of breakfast options all fresh and tasty, no complaints at all. For dinner each night we were served by Marianna who did a super job of looking after us! Three courses every night which you would choose from 3 different options the night before, all absolutely delicious, more than enough food and made us try things we wouldn’t normally eat! It was technically 4 courses too as before your starter there is a great salad bar and they also have different appetisers such as chicken wings, mini pizza, breaded zucchini etc. Also on Wednesday night we had a special Trentino Dinner where the staff dressed up smart, entertained the guests and we had 4 delicious Trentino traditional dishes!

This hotel was perfect for us, struggle to fault it from the facilities to the staff, absolutely fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing hotel with amazing staff. The hotel was spotless clean and the food a highlight of our stay. Miguel and Marianne took care of us in the restaurant and made sure we had everything we wanted. Their attention to detail was evident. The Spa facilities are worth a mention as they are incredible. And the entertainment team who were fun and friendly planned an event every evening. We have been coming to Passo del Tonale for 3 years now and this was our best visit yet.
