We stayed 4 nights in the lovely, clean , modern & spacious hotel.
At check in we got a full orientation from Mercedes who was utterly pleasant & professional.
Breakfast, although not of a huge selection was of great quality!
We had a car, which gave us freedom & without it would limit your trips in & out of the town and you would need to plan evening meals very carefully. Their is the ski bus but most likely you will need to use taxis also.
The spa area is pleasant and also very clean.

we stayed at the apartments part, using the 6 person one. the apartment is huge, very well kept and equipped. it has a very large balcony.
the apartment is located 2 km from Ischgl. if your are with a car the location is great ! otherwise you can use the ski bus, which is not far away - but beware, when getting back there is a short but not so easy uphill road, so you better leave your skis on the mountain.
the SPA facilities at the hotel are great and the bred service in the morning is  very convinient

Me & my wife spent 6 days in this hotel on January 2015.
Hotel Garni Alpenland is located about 4 minute drive from the main Ischgl ski tramway.
The hotel is relatively new, very clean, nicely designed and well equipped.
The staff is very friendly and makes the extra mile to assist you.
Location is disappointing, but if you have a car rented it’s not so bad.
Pros:

The rooms are large and combatable.
Underground parking (good for snowy days)
Cons:
There is a bar on the hotel, but I never saw it open.
Location: The distance from the Sky site, you need car or use the Ski bus that might run as frequent as you think.
Small TV
No Jacuzzi or pool in the Spa.
