Nice hotel, but during the summer at least they seem to mostly handle BIG groups of elderly tourists. This comes with advantages and disadvantages. Advantage - the spa was basically a private spa for my wife and I.

However, a BIG disadvantage was that at breakfast the group swarmed the breakfast area making it difficult to move through. And if you came later then they were completely out of simple things like tomatoes and cucumbers, which is really unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

My extended family stayed for a week in December/January, and we all agreed it was one of the best hotels we had stayed in for years.   The position was excellent , not only for the skiers amongst us, but also for the walkers.     The rooms were immaculate, very comfortable in every way, the food was absolutely excellent throughout - but what really made our week so special was the quality of the staff.   They were all so efficient and everyone was so charming and friendly.   They gave us a private dining room and looked after all 15 of us (9 adults and 6 children) so beautifully - of especial note was our waitress Viktoria from Hungary!   It was all a lovely experience and I would thoroughly recommend this wonderful hotel.
