Lovely peaceful and quaint family run hotel. All staff were always very helpful, polite and smiley & friendly, a very comfy and relaxing place. Make sure to take some comfy slippers and you’ll feel as though you’re stopping over at a friend’s house. Basic but very comfy and warm bedrooms and bathroom, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was on ground floor, no balcony, facing the road which could get a bit noisy but not too bad. Breakfast was more than adequate for the price but avoid 8 to 8.30 if you want a more comfortable experience. Courtesy mini bus service runs efficiently from 4pm to 11pm. They will try to accommodate pick up and drop off outside of these times if they’re not busy, but no guarantee. Spacious boot room and on level easy access to ski in/out platform at the back of the hotel. If you’re not bothered about going into town to eat at night, their Bistro provides lovely food, lunchtime snacks also available. If you go through Crystal DO NOT hire equipment through them. They use a hotel up the road (White Angel) who have a small ski hire shop in their basement. The range is limited and kit is very tired. Some friends in our party asked the Furggen staff who recommended a good hire shop in town which was cheaper than Crystal and the kit was all first class. We will definitely stop here again next time we’re in Cervinia.

Boiled eggs was only 6 eggs at time !! Surely kitchen could have boiled some eggs to same time for 70 guests

We've just had our 3rd year at the Furggen and again it didn't disappoint. Great family run hotel, great location and the shuttle is so handy. We used to walk into town in the evenings and back again but the shuttle was a welcome addition when we were heading back to the hotel with skis after apres ski. 
Breakfast is plentiful and tasty and the evening meals in the bistro were nice. Great heated lockers in the ski room. 
We are looking to return for the 4th time next year as we love the hotel and the resort. Staff are all really friendly and the new refurbished rooms are finished to a high standard with attention to detail. 

Great 3rd visit 

We stayed at Furggen with another couple Mar 25 for a week’s skiing booked through Crystal. No complaints at all. Very friendly, helpful staff and as others have commented, a lovely family atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable, clean, warm and serviced everyday. Ski room is great and you walk straight out onto a piste. If you’re a beginner, the run you access could be a little too much but fine otherwise. Bar area is nice and cozy and once again the staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast can be a little busy but after one day we sussed that going at 830 avoided the rush and had no issues at all. We ate once at the hotel (all good) and then in town. There are plenty of choices and the hotel minibus service was great. We walked down (15 mins) and then got a lift back! The service runs to and from the church. If you’re new to Cervinia then unless you plan to go to Switzerland area more than twice buy the local pass and top up daily (€52) when you go. Personally, we prefer the skiing on the Italian side. One note, the new lift across to the glacier is included in your pass for going to the glacier from Italy but for some unfathomable reason is not included travelling the other way unless you pay an extra CHF27! Not a problem generally but if the weather comes down or you’re very tired after a long trip into Zermatt, you’ll have to pay if you don’t ski the glacier route down. The hotel can provide ski passes, but not the daily top up for Switzerland, and we thoroughly recommend Cervinia 2001 for ski hire.

Great hotel for ski in, ski out, Red Run.  Just above the cretaz chairlift which was so handy, spotlessly clean 👌 hotel staff great & accommodating, food was good we were B&B but you also have an option of eating in the hotel restaurant at night which we did on a couple of occasions, shuttle service runs 4pm-11pm. Very homely feeling lovely relaxed atmosphere 😎 this was our 2nd trip to this hotel with another 1 booked with them to stay again.
