We stayed at the Hotel Nordend in March 23 for a
Skiing trip. It is brilliantly located less than 5 minutes walk for the 2 lifts that take you to the Champuluc & Gressoney areas of the ski region.  It is spotlessly clean with a
room clean / beds made every day.  Beds very comfortable and even though the rooms are
Compact they have everything you need including tea and coffee facilities.  The staff are Friendly and helpful at all times and the hotel is run by a couple who are bringing up their young children there which gives it a
Lovely relaxed feeling.  We chose the half board option and the food was fantastic.  Breakfast had everything you could want; cereals and fruit & yoghurt, cooked breakfast, meats and cheeses, toast, pastries, pancakes, and cakes.  The evening meal was Cooked by the restaurant underneath the hotel which was high quality and great value for a 4-course meal.  Even though there were only a few choices for each course we always found something we enjoyed and it was great to know we were going to be looked after at the end of a busy day. The restaurant has a very knowledgeable sommelier who guided us to some excellent local wines. The hotel has a nice spa area with sauna and steam room.  I can’t recommend this enough- we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Staffal.  The ski region has enough skiing to keep you interested for 5 days.  It doesn’t have much for beginners but for Good skiers it is good and is renowned for its off piste opportunities.

In winter, as well as in summer, the position is perfect for all those who love mountains and nature! 16 functional rooms, all with private bathroom with hair-dryer, balcony/terrace, phone, satellite TV. Elevator on each floor. Wellness area offering sauna and steam room. Heated ski-room. Next to the hotel: pub-restaurant, Mountain Guides Bureau, grocery and sport shop, ski rental, cash point and launderette.
