We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is comfortable & very clean. The service from management & all staff was excellent. Lovely food with lots of options for breakfast & dinner. Great bar area. The boot room is excellent. We hired boots & skis from Lohmann who provide a free shuttle bus service & collected them at the end of the holiday. A short & easy walk onto the slopes & back again. Highly recommended!

Superb Hotel

We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in our 50 year long ski career, but we think this small friendly family run Olympia is probably the nicest yet.

Pros:    Spacious bright room, with balcony, masses of cupboard space, fridge, piping hot bath water, heated towel rail, big towels.   TV has access to BBC/ITV/Disney etc channels.  Heated ski locker with places for not only skis, but boots, helmet & gloves + hooks for poles, hurray.   Genuinely ‘ski out’ from the hotel car park down to a button lift which links to a gondola and the rest of the resort.    ‘Ski in’ involves an easy 7 minute walk.   If you rent equipment from Sport Lohmann transport is available to the shop, and also if you need to change anything during your stay.

All the staff have been welcoming and helpful.   Nothing is too much trouble.      An ice pack for a torn muscle?   Of course.   Another blanket?    We’ll bring it straight away.   Very sensible eco option available not to have your bed & towels changed every day.     

The food is exceptional.   Dinner each night has a different ‘theme’, with fun table decorations, something to look forward to.   Every meal has been wonderful, the only problem is not eating too much!     Post skiing tea is laid out in the Stubli,  it changes every day, but always including a big bowl of fresh fruit salad.   Plenty of fruit available all day.

Cons:    Hhhmm, a problem thinking of any!    No tea or coffee making facilities provided in the rooms.

We have been staying at this beautiful hotel for Christmas for 21yrs so that probably says all you need to know. 

The hotel is superb, the staff are brilliant and the Owners, who take a big role in day to day running, are fantastic.

The room was comfortable with a very comfortable foam type mattress bed and plenty of cupboard and draw space. 

The bathroom has a good shower and large bath all of which were very clean.

This year there was a new option to not have the room cleaned every day , this makes a lot of sense for us as we are quite able to keep a room tidy and do not need new towels every day.

Breakfast offers everything we could ask for and the evening meals were as always superb.

All the staff speak English as well as German.

Excellent hotel . Great location for the ski slopes too.

A fabulous stay from start to finish! We had a very warm welcome from the owner on arrival and all the staff had the same warm and helpful approach throughout our stay. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and the heated boot and ski lockers were an added bonus. The food was incredible; breakfasts offered a fantastic choice and on Easter Sunday each guest was given a bag of chocolate eggs to enjoy. Evening meals were of a very high standard and my only disappointment was the fact I couldn’t eat more. It was a real culinary treat! 
No smells of sewage during our stay. Zero complaints- we were all very happy! Thank you!
