Got a double room for price of a single room. Big and clean room. Good breakfast. Made me aware of special deal summer 2016 where first hotel night qualifies for free use of all gondola ropeways in the Saas valley.

Good value for money

The hotel is situated in a quaint, little ski town, with amazing views.   Egon, the owner was kind enough to wait almost two hours past the checkin time, to welcome us, to a great little apartment with a terrace and outstanding views.   The service is very friendly, and the place is clean, and everything works with swiss efficiency.   The decor is austere but functional.  I recommend getting there by car, there is a small ski area just in a five minute walk, and we actually got a great deal at El Dorado, the owner's sister ski shop, for ski clothing and ski gear rental.  Saas Fee has great skiing, and Zermatt is only a 40 min drive, and this hotel and location offers superb value.

Central location, close to the chairlift (200m) and the ski pistes, direct access to the cross country skiing network. Departure point for numerous walks and hikes. Spacious modern rooms and stylish apartments. All rooms with shower, toilet, hair dryer, safe, satellite TV, radio, free WI-FI and a comfortable seating area. In the elegant dining room you are spoiled with a generous breakfast buffet and a carefully prepared and varied 4 cours evening meal. In our a la carte restaurant you can enjoy traditional speciality Swiss dishes from the Valais and refined French cuisine. Relax in the cosy bar, the light and airy conservatory or on the inviting sun terrace. Free Internet Corner. Free parking at the Hotel. Sommer 2015: The free use of the post bus and all mountain cablecars (except Metro Alpin) within the Saas Valley is included in the price of the hotel.
