Our 4th visit & still the same. Its clean, it's comfortable, the staff are friendly, it's perfectly located for the slopes and it's cheap. It might be missing a few things from the more expensive hotels but as a base for a few days skiing it's perfect.

4th timer

Great to be back after a year away thanks to covid. A few new faces but same friendly service by all. We got a room on the front this time so no view of a cliff face.
Unfortunately the bar over the road hasn't survived covid but plenty of restaurants & bars nearby.

2nd visit

Firstly the location couldn't be better for skiers, the hotel is about 100 meters from the Canillo gongola & ticket office. Its also has a pub just over the road & is only a 5-10 walk to a number of restaurants.
The hotel it's self is getting ready for a little renovation but it is clean & comfortable the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast had a decent selection, cereals, yoghurts, croissants etc. Not the biggest selection but plenty to set us up for a days skiing.
If you want luxury after the slopes this isn't the hotel, but for a 2* hotel & the very cheap price we paid it's absolutely fantastic. 4 brilliant night's sleep & a stomach full of breakfast set us up perfectly for a brilliant day on the slopes.
We will definitely stay at the hotel again if we come back to Canillo next year.

Ski Trip

Lovely family run hotel. Very hospitable and attentive service. Hotel is extremely clean but could do with updating decor in certain areas..... but I suppose the saying is... if it’s not broke don’t fix it!

Good size rooms.... including the bathroom. Although we did have a broken hairdryer....which they kindly replaced. 
Full size bath and hot hot water every day! Just what you need after a long day on the slopes.  Shower was powerful buy no shower curtain so stuck with having a soak in the tub.

Breakfast was very basic but more than adequate to get you started in the mornings, with choices from croissants, toast, yoghurt, cereal and fruit, coffee and fruit juice. I personally would’ve liked a little scrambled egg in the morning.

Hotel has lockers for skis and boots.

The hotel itself is in a prime location, just a stones throw away from the ski fit and gondolas.  A good selection of reasonably priced restaurants/bars (my favourite being “Blot” which do the best burgers on the planet! Literally just around the corner from hotel)
The area is surrounded by beautiful scenery and has a lovely mountain stream running through it.

I would highly recommend this hotel to any one... in fact I will be returning for my 50th same time next year!

Excellent location... warm and friendly atmosphere!
