We enjoyed this hotel only because of our superior room looking out onto Vallalunga and Micky the owner and her family. Otherwise on the first 3 nights the evening meal was so bad we were thinking of moving hotels, I thought maybe the chef was on holiday. Everyone pays for water at their table which we think was terrible. If we hadn't had to pay for water we probably would have had a beer or wine at dinner instead. After a lot of walking every day we should have looked forward to our evening meal, but apart from the starter salad and desert we normally were dissapointed. If you enjoy very little pasta in Italy this is the place to stay, we had no spaghetti, carbonara  or lasagne, only vegetarian lasagne which was forgettable (hopefully). We had turkey curry where the rice was overcooked and the sauce was just gravy. Soup with pancakes or dumplings, which we've had in many hotels in Italy, Austria and Germany where the liquid part should have a lovely flavour. Here it had no flavour at all. This hotel we feel is only for old Italians who love polenta, raw venison, and hate beautiful pasta dishes.

Disappointed

If I could give this Hotel 20/10, I would!
It is an absolute gem in the beautiful resort of Sevla, Val Garden. Everything was more than expected. Lovely Hotel, extremely clean, delicious and plentiful food, really lovely, friendly hosts, extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a gorgeous free Spa in the basement and use of the jacuzzi/ steam room/ Sauna, and a few additional payable items ( massage table recommended). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were an excellent size ( Superior room). It's just PERFECT for a relaxing, restful holiday with exercise thrown in if you want to.  It is very easy to get access to everywhere in the resort, Chair lifts and Gondola rides ( you can be up at 7500ft in 20 minutes). You are given a free bus pass for the whole valley, which is useful and makes travelling around very easy. Just brilliant. I have no hesitation in recommending.

Mikaela,  her mother & father plus the staff run a great operation

The location couldn't be better just walk out of the boot room and your on the slopes and the plunge pool , sauna and steam room after skiing were a bonus .
