This is a true ski in/out hotel, you can literally ski to the front door (although there is a LOT of snow at the moment).
Rooms: big, comfortable double bed, nice. Tiny bathroom but a bath with shower over and clean so fine. Enough space with room to hang ski stuff and a decent TV ( no Netflix etc but then there never is). See other reviews for tea/coffee situation.
Spa/pool - there isn’t one.
Fitness suite - tiny. Two bikes and a treadmill. Bring a mat if you need one.
Reception Staff - helpful and polite, can’t fault. 
Ski lockers - fine, with boot heaters. No steps to negotiate.
Which brings us to the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner are always a scrum so go late. Bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage are poor and often cold. Half the number of staff required are present so they’re frazzled and the tables are slow to be cleared. The whole thing is cramped with an atmosphere of general chaos. Cutlery and crockery are often dirty. HOWEVER, much of the food is actually pretty good, the desserts at dinner in particular and one leaves the restaurant feeling if only they could address the above issues, it would be a good dining experience.
So, great location, rooms and staff okay, restaurant a bit of a let down. 

Finally, we went with Crystal. The reps were grade D at best; think Butlins rather than Neilson. Unfunny, unclear, unimpressive. Wouldn’t go with Crystal again.

You simply can’t beat the location — true ski-in, ski-out. Being able to click into your skis at the door is fantastic. The boot room is excellent: warm, spacious and very well organised. There’s also a well-stocked Spar shop almost opposite, which is really handy.

The hotel staff were friendly, approachable and clearly working very hard, particularly given how busy it was and the challenging conditions during our stay. They genuinely seemed to be doing their best at all times, which we appreciated.

That said, there don’t appear to be quite enough staff at peak meal times, and the dining room can feel crowded and chaotic. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style and, unfortunately, the food was often lukewarm and fairly limited in choice. Cleanliness (cutlery and crockery often dirty) and organisation in the restaurant could be improved, which would make a big difference to the overall experience.

Our room was fairly basic and a little dated, though perfectly functional and the beds were comfortable. 

Overall, this is an unbeatable spot for skiing with a great boot room and hardworking staff. With improvements to the catering and dining arrangements, it could be excellent. We would return for the skiing — the location really is superb.

Lovely hotel perfectly located on a piste with a Spar directly across for buying snacks, ski hire shop next door and close to the Deep Nature Spa, recently refurbished to a high standard with lots of use of wood. Direct access from the underground car park, with a ramp up to reception. Very comfy beds, lots of storage space. Good atmosphere in the restaurant with pleasant staff. Nice meals, buffet was ideal especially for kids, food items replenished quickly. Great ski-in/ski-out experience, no stairs to navigate in ski boots. Ski room directly behind reception with lockers all with PIN combination locks. Bar with dart board, plus pool table, football table and a couple of game machines. Gym too. Great value for money, will definitely return!
