Hotel was very welcoming, all staff the were helpful and pleasant. Rooms well mainted and warm.Swimming pool was warm(not cold like some reports). Meals in the three restaurants used, were tasty and the service was good.Hired our sking equipment from the shop within the hotel,service was good and the equipment was well maintained.Public areas were relaxing along with a real log fire.The ski room was warm with secure storage lockers for each room.There was a short walk to the nearby slopes but you can ski back to the front of the hotel.

Terrible food, terrible spa, old hotel… cold rooms, staff doesn’t clean the rooms, don’t change towels…

I anticipate that the towels will be replaced at least twice during the eight-day period. The facial and leg towels were only replaced once. My ski locker was not equipped with a lock. The reception desk assured me that this issue would be resolved by the time I returned from my initial day of skiing; however, this did not occur until I revisited the reception.

Fairly happy with the hotel and location - some say a little dated and I would agree - but the biggest issue is the reception staff.  There was no ownership for the issues experienced.

Firstly, despite informing both the booking agent AND the hotel directly that we required a twin not double, a double was allocated and with a shrug of the shoulders, nothing we can do tonight.

Secondly, the hotel sold us lift passes for the whole area and told us that they could refund and replace if the weather was not great the following morning so long as we hadn't used the pass - when we looked to change the pass, the receptionist Matilde told us this was not possibe, when pushed said that she didn't know about this and then, finally, asked a colleague who agreed that it was possible.

Thirdly, having checked out I noticed that I had been charged €44 in error for breakfast (this was included in the package and, indeed, only charged for one day?).  I have now sent three emails to their reception and one email to their HQ requesting a refund for this amount.   To date, 5 days later, I have not had the courtesy of an acknowledgment let alone a reply or refund.

Pretty appalling for a four star hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, stylish nice room, very tasty dinner options.
Fireplace in the bar bearly burns, cold outdoor pool and jacuzzi.
