vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung! Es freut uns zu lesen, dass Ihnen das Hotel und die Lage gut gefallen haben. Viele unserer Gäste schätzen die schöne Lage unseres Apparthotels mit dem tollen Ausblick.

Bei den anderen Punkte finde ich, dass Ihre Bewertung keine faire Reflektion unseres Gespräches ist und möchte somit auf Ihre erwähnten Punkte kurz eingehen:

Sie haben bei uns kurzfristig für ein verlängertes Wochenende (Do-So) ein Appartement gebucht. Es handelte sich um eine Pauschalreise, welche auf einer Buchungsplattform zu einem äußerst attraktiven Preis angeboten und von Ihnen unter den angegebenen Richtlinien gebucht wurde. Unter anderem war eine dieser Richtlinie die 100 %igen Stornokosten. Des Weiteren empfehlen wir all unseren Gästen bei der Reservierung/Buchung eine Reiseversicherung abzuschließen.
Am Freitagmorgen kamen Sie an die Rezeption und erkundigten sich über eine frühere Abreise. Nachdem wir Sie auf die vereinbarte Storno-Richtlinie hinwiesen, gaben Sie als Grund für Ihre frühere Abreise einen Skiunfall an. Eine Reiseversicherung hatten Sie leider nicht abgeschlossen und für die Inanspruchnahme der Reiseabbruchversicherung aufgrund eines Unfalles über Ihre Kreditkarte hätten Sie eine Bestätigung des Arztes benötigt, aber zum Arzt oder in das Krankenhaus wollten Sie aus unerklärlichen Gründen auch nicht gehen.
Da ich aber um eine Lösung bemüht war, hielt ich kurz Rücksprache mit meinem Chef (deshalb habe ich unsere Konversation kurz unterbrochen) und konnte Ihnen für die letzte Nacht, zusätzlich zum äußerst günstigen Pauschalangebot, nochmals 50% Nachlass geben. Damit waren Sie dann einverstanden - blieben bis zum letzten Tag, sind nicht früher abgereist und gingen auch noch Skifahren.

Zur Zimmerreinigung möchte ich anmerken, dass nur auf Wunsch des Gastes das Appartement täglich gereinigt wird. Diesen Wunsch haben Sie leider nicht geäußert.

Wir sind ein Apparthotel, welches Frühstücksbuffet oder Brötchenservice anbietet. Das wird auf unserer Homepage und auf all den Buchungsplattformen klar kommuniziert und mit Ihrer Buchung haben Sie sich damit einverstanden erklärt. Warum Sie hier nun negativ anmerken, dass es bei uns nur Frühstück gibt, kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen.

Ich hoffe, dass bei Ihrem nächsten Winterurlaub ein anderes Apparthotel Ihren Ansprüchen gerecht werden kann und wünsche Ihnen alles Gute!

The hotel is nice, close to ski, close to the center, so the location si good. They do not clean the room if you do not ask them, they serve only breakfast and I give a lot on the attitude between people. They have got none. I booked a room on booking.com for 3 nights and decide to leave 1 day earlier because i hurt my knee and i could not ski. I paid in the hotel and they did not want to hear anything about my early leaving. I was prepared to pay half night maybe for the night i will not stay but they did not want to hear anything and the woman left during our conversation. Definately will not come here again.

I thought a lot about reviewing Zirbenhof Apartmenthotel. 
Location: it is 15 min walk from the centre and the shops of Obertauern, but is 200 m from the main ski lifts. The slope passes next to the hotel, so is relatively easy to go on the slopes in the morning and come back at the end of the day. Unless you want to stop at a Apres Ski for a drink.
it has some 20+ apartments. All of them are different, so you need to be careful what kind you choose. Some of them have small windows - so you cannot see the beautiful mountain or the slopes. The rooms have decent furniture, nothing fancy. It is clean and spacious. Compared to a hotel room, you had an apartment with everything in it. There was no cleaning or towel change during our 1 week stay. no soap in the bathroom - so bring your own.
They have a small restaurant where they serve only breakfast. we did not used it at all.
as the hotel is on a cliff - in order to get from the parking in the hotel - you need to climb some stairs.... a lot of stairs. for the luggage they have a lift - very slow one to get them up and then into your room. It takes a lot of time to check in due to this :). 
They had a sauna that I did not used. No swimming pool. Price - i think it was more than it worth it.

As I said - mixed feelings. Overall, we had a nice vacation. Me - not sure I would come back. For some friends it was the best accommodation in Obertauern (3rd year there).

We returned to this "aparthotel" for 5 times. A nice Austrian couple manages the property which is directly (!!) on the slopes, in the quiet but central location. You can ski in and out, even if you are a beginner.
The hotel and the appartments are modern and clean, one can really feel at home. We usually take the roof appartment which provides plenty of space and a wonderful view on the picturesque Obertauern.
Sauna, Turkish bath and wellness are spotlessly clean, it is great to chill down wrapped in just a towel on the outside bench.
The only things we disliked is the long stairway and the lack of dish washer.
