My family have been to Kaltenbach skiing several years and we have always stayed with Hannes in his beautiful hotel.
I really love this hotel and we always get a warm welcome.
The rooms are lovely (more modern in the main hotel)
The fully serviced breakfast  is just fantastic. Plates of lovely meats, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes …. 
Hannes and his team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
There is also a shuttle to the ski lifts if required.
Highly recommend this hotel

Staying there is always a great experience: beautiful rooms, all with a view; a wonderful garden to enjoy your meals. In case it rains nice seating inside. And the meals are a super demonstration of contemporary Tyrollean cuisine with very good ingredients prepared by a passionate team.

I stayed in this hotel in the last week of the ski season. It was very comfortable.  The food was excellent and we ate lunch as well as breakfast. The lunch especially was very tasty.  The hotel was quiet when I was there, but judging by the entertainment space I assume it gets very busy.  The staff were friendly. It was quite basic accommodation in the rooms, although the room did have a separate living room and bedroom.  Would benefit from a higher wattage bulb in the living room in order to see properly.  In fairness though the hotel rate was very good and we felt it was value for money,  I would stay here again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a Special trip.

If you are looking for a classic hotel with many beds, a large spa area and standard hotel rooms, then the hotel and Landgasthof Linde in Stumm have the wrong address. In this house, however, special emphasis is placed on human individuality, a friendly atmosphere and a few hotel rooms and suites with charming Tyrolean charm. That's why there are only 3 exclusively furnished rooms and 2 maisonette suites in the historical main building of the Linde next to the romantic Stummer castle. In the spring of 2018 they were elaborately and lovingly renovated by local craftsmen. In the quiet country house Luise on the neighboring edge of the forest there are another 4 rooms or suites for discerning guests who want to relax and get away from mass tourism.
