Really, really bad! I had to give my credit card details for a deposit of 150 EUR before It could get access to my room and after my crappy stay they charged my credit card for 3 night, for which I had already paid for in advance. They refused to answer me when I wanted my money back ... This hotel is a scam so stay away!

I booked here from 12-15th March via booking.com and had to cancel last minute. I wanted to thank the team at les Olympiades for their understanding and flexibility. Whilst I did not end up staying here, some of my friends did, and whilst it is is not a new building it was practial and good value compared to opther options in Val Thorens and they enjoyed their stay

I shall start at the beginning. Arrived around 2 pm only to be told we could not check in until 5. Not much of a problem as we still had to collect ski hire and lift passes. We returned to apartment now with skis and boots in hand around 4 30 to be met by total chaos. There must have been around 100 people trying to check in. It queue was going out the door. They had a stupid line system in place with English speakers going one side of line and French speakers going on another. Lots of people who were English speakers were not paying any attention to this and joining French speaking line as it was far shorter and staff were still serving them in English. The Dutch. Tempers were getting frayed and how it never came to full out Violence I will never know.
On to the place it's self. Totally run down. Place is a pig stye with rubbish all over place. I never seen 1 member of staff the whole 7 days I spent their. Reception area covered in cigarette ends as people gather outside main door to have a smoke and ends getting blown in but no one seems to care as no staff.
Rooms totally run down. The beds if you can call them that are so uncomfortable that you have mare aches and pains when you get up than you do for a day's skiing. Could not spend much time on the bocony as neighbours liked to smoke a bit weed and the place was stinking. 
The only positive thing about this dump is the location
Avoid.

Avoid at all cost

Don’t come here. We got scammed for 120 euros drawn from our deposit with no explanation. A lot of the interior was damaged when we came, so they probably saw an opportunity to cover repair costs by scamming some foreigners. The hotel didn’t give any reasons as to why they drew the deposit when asked on mail…
