This is a great place to stay – this is our second time here! Traveling out here to see the glorious aspens, but we don’t want to stay in the crazy busy town of Aspen. 

The beds and pillows are amazing! The kitchen is fully supplied with quality items – even a crock pot. 

There are no luggage carts like we’re used to at hotels, but when we called and asked about it, they sent a strong young man who made two trips up and down the three flights with no problem! Then we took the elevator with the rest. (Yes, we travel with a lot.)

Things I would have liked but don’t reduce my 5-star rating – we only had half a roll of toilet paper and no spares; someone just forgot I’m sure. They brought us some right away when we called. 
I like to have dish cloths in the kitchen; there are none, but a fresh sponge and paper towels.
There is also no hand soap for the kitchen. A bottle of liquid hand soap would be nice.

Each time we arrived here, the heat radiator was on making the living area to warm. They had to send maintenance to turn it off for us. But year, the guy just flipped the breaker, so we were able to flip it on each morning for a bit to take off the chill. 

Very nice place to stay! We would definitely come again!

Beautiful place!

Independence, Missouri

Our original booking was at the Stonebridge Inn, chosen based on a positive past experience with Hyatt. However, upon arrival, the room we were assigned had an unpleasant odor. We promptly requested a room change, only to discover that the hotel was fully booked. This situation was rather frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. The lady at the front desk made an effort to persuade us to stay in the room despite the smell but did offer a discounted dinner as compensation.

Fortunately, Sam, who was accommodating, stepped in and arranged for us to stay in a condominium instead. While Sam did his best to address the issue, it was disappointing to find ourselves in this situation in the first place.

Older but cleaner

This has been a troubling stay this go around after 12 years. From being double charged, house keeping going through my things, to asking for room service for essentials and not receiving until the next day, and now being told I didn't not have a reservation for sunday the 24th ( the caller said I needed to get out today” Saturday”)  I had to get him to look in the computer to see that I did have a reservation for sunday. He could have made sure before calling me and ruining my morning.  After all of this I was charged a fee with no explanation as to what it was. 


Rough time

Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado

The dishwasher was broken and there were loose, broken parts lying in a pool of water on the bottom. There was a hole in the wall with wires hanging out. The bed was a metal frame that stuck out from the mattress and the mattress was a lumpy mess. Kitchen was not clean. Tiny bathroom. Heat was hard to adjust: too hot, too cold. 
Only good thing was it was a good location. Management agreed with me and I got a partial refund butI would not stay there again.

Outdated, broken down, uncomfortable

Albany, New York

Excellent rooms.  Large, clean, very well equipped, lots of storage space.  Great location short walk to gondola.  About 1/3 the price of a comparable unit in Aspen.  Human services, e.g. desk attendants, were located in a different location quite far from our building.  They promised to meet our requests, by phone, but failed to do so most of the time.  We will still look forward to returning.

Great Value

The Lichenhearth Condominiums offer ideal accommodations for singles, couples and small families right in the heart of Snowmass Village. Guests can ski out of the condos on to the slopes in the winter and explore the vast network of hiking and biking trails from the backdoor in the summer. Being conveniently located adjacent to the Base Village, the Lichenhearth is just steps away from the Kids Treehouse Adventure Center, Village Express Lift, Elk camp Gondola, family friendly dining options and shopping.
