Great location,(just beside the lift), large,clean and quiet room, super nice staffs. Really enjoyed the mountain view. Jacuzzi inside the bathroom. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook.

Fantastic lodge for ski family

The lodge describes itself as "mountain chic." A better description would be "mountain tired." To refer to this property as luxury would be equivalent to describing McDonalds as gourmet. The only positive aspect of this property is its proximity to the slopes. The room quality is no better than a roadside motel, outdated, worn, and battered. The closet had all of three hangers and bathrobes were nowhere to be found. Don't be fooled by the high price for accomodations thinking you are reserving a quality property. It is in dire need of a complete update and renovation. 
The restaurant for dinner was acceptable but their a la carte menu for breakfast is extremely limited and there is no breakfast buffet. Some staff members are helpful and friendly while others are anything but. For a property that has a reputation as being the best at the resort, for me it was a major disappointment.

Think twice

When we checked in we were upgraded to a big kitchenette/living room with seperate bedroom, mountain view. It was absolutely beautiful and we were thrilled with the accommodations. The fireplace is my favourite feature. 100% recommend this hotel.

Amazing

It was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect.  Everything and more was available to us .seimmingviutside in the pool and a hot tub with such a beautiful view was amazing.  Staff were helpful and accommodating.  Would love to go back!

Lizard Creek Lodge is in the perfect ski-in/ski-out position at Fernie Alpine Resort. The outdoor pool and hot tubs overlook the mountains. There are 14 units in the main lodge and 85 residential style condos in two other buildings. Each of our luxurious suites has differing configurations from tudios, one, two and three bedroom suites. They all feature fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and private balcony. You'll enjoy coming home and putting your feet up after a great day on the hill. We offer the only full service property on the mountain, with on-site restaurant and day spa.
