This is a 2* hotel with small and basic rooms. The showers were excellent with plenty of hot water and the rooms clean and perfectly adequate. Beds are firm and pillows could be plusher. We were on half board and the dining experience was excellent for the cost. 
The hotel is a bit out of the centre but it was only a max 6/7 min walk in the morning to the lift. We hired our ski equipment from Hubert sport which is very close to the Super Morzine lift and they had lockers so we could leave our equipment there overnight. This meant we did not have to carry equipment or walk back and forth from the the hotel in ski boots. 
I had skied extensively in Avoriaz Chatel in the past but never in Les Gets which was a revelation. Very pretty skiing in the trees some good mountain restaurants and much cheaper than Lindarets!. 
Would not hesitate to return.

Just back from the L'ours Blanc on a very cheap Crystal deal. The hotel is not accessable by coach so we had to walk from the main rd, about 300 yards uphill, quite a long way when dragging bags and skis. Not very imposing reception area with a slight whiff of drains from the boot room area. The staicase to the bedrooms is narrow and winding so we were pleased to discover that room 1 was the first room at the top of the stairs.
The room itself was tiny, we had to move the bed to get into the bathroom, and the separate toilet was so small I hit my head on the wall opposite when rising from the loo, I discovered if you got off sideways this could be avoided.
Having said that the room was very clean, there was lots of hanging,/ packing space, the beds were very comfy and the shower was superb.
We had half board and were surprised to find there was no choice of dinner although if there was something you couldn't eat they would normally substitute an ommelette or similar. Vegetable soup is a staple for starter and the food is tasty and substantial.
I preferred breakfast with fresh bageuttes available with ham and cheese, a hot option of ommlette, beans and french sausages. or the usual yoghurts and pastries. The coffee machine was the best I have ever used.
If you are hiring skis there are hire shops at either of the lifts and you can leave your skis there at the end of the day. We carried them the first day and its quite a long way.
If you take your own skis ( £27 for two pairs with Crystal ) you can leave them with Hubert ski near the super morzine lift
Morzine is a great ski area and I will certainly visit again, but this hotel is a bit basic for me.
They do not offer breakfast outside their own normal hours so for our 7 am pick up we were left a tray with a pot of cold coffee and four pots of honey?? I have left at 3 am and been offered more than that!
BEWARE if you are ill on resort ( my wife was for 5 days ) there is no emergency medical assistance in the town and the doctors only work office hours, the nearest hospital is in Mont Blanc. A good tip here, dail 112 and the fire brigade medic will attend and assess you, and if ill, transfer you to Mont blanc.

We have just returned from a week at this small hotel.  We found the rooms to be very clean with a comfy bed and plenty of hot water. We had a nice balcony overlooking the valley.  The pool was great to return to after a day out and we made good use of it in the glorious weather. The hotel is in a quiet road situated a few minutes walk from the bridge across to the Super Morzine lift and town.
We were on half board. Breakfast was ok , a self service buffet.  The usual breads and pastries , cereal plus usually a cake or two. Limited ham and cheese . Yogurts.  There was a fresh fruit bowl with apples and oranges but this was never replinished during our stay .   Dinner was a set menu of four courses which included a local cheese course.   Arnaud the owner
/chef was very accommodating altering some dishes slightly to suit dietary needs.

Dinner was served between 7 and 8 and the four courses are served very quickly. 
The dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere and could do with some
 background music especially when it has
 few diners present.   Some mornings/
evenings faint music was on others it
 wasn't. A minor point .

Overall for the money we paid, the location 
 and cleanliness of the room it
 represented good value for money.

Booked here to join a friend's ski trip. Drove from Geneva and parked outside. Great room, big by French standards, clean and fresh. Bed a bit hard and a shower rather than a bath but a separate toilet. Not much hanging space but not really a problem. Booked half board - food was wholesome rather than exciting but perfectly nice. Breakfast good, with some hot options and a good coffee machine. Dinner included a cheese course and the bar was very friendly afterwards even though we finished off their port supply!

Its about a 1.5km walk to the Pleney lift so we hired from a ski shop next to the lift and then left everything in their shop overnight Also used the free train to move around Morzine in ski boots rather than walk plus got the bus to Avoriaz rather than spend ages in the Super Morzine queue.

Hidden gem

We stayed here as part of our ski holiday. The hotel is a short walk to buses to Avoriaz, Pleney and Le Gets resorts and walking distance to Morzine town centre. Nice cosy rooms with polite staff. Breakfast is lovely, my girlfriend would have liked pancakes but I was happy with what was on offer.
