I booked for around 10 nights and what I can say is that the expierence was really amazing. My room was really clean, even on the corners. There is a bar, a restaurant and also the food tasted good. The lobby looks great, it’s big and it has an extra room for games so the kids are enjoyed. The hotel has a spa with a swimming pool and a sauna. The staff were also very kind and always ready to help. Overall it’s really a great hotel and I would recommend it definitely.

A really recommendable Hotel

Overall 3 star stay. Location is fine, a short walk from the gondola or ski shops. Service was good, friendly cleaners and restaurant staff. However, had cold showers every day, despite complaining and being told it was fixed.

Not 4 star.  3 star at best.

We had a truly wonderful experience here, the spa is perfect for our needs. We had two studios for myself, husband & two teens. We had b&b with our package, rooms perfect well serviced daily and excellent cleaning, breakfast ok but not what we used too but lots of options available. Coffee poor 😟. But staff excellent and extremely helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. Great location walking distance to just about anywhere you need to go.

The atrium in this hotel is very noisy. Don’t expect any sleep. You can hear conversations on the ground floor from the 5th floor. The morning staff are noisy when setting up for breakfast. Guests are also allowed to smoke in the atrium which means your room smells of cigarette smoke if you open any windows facing the atrium. I tried to speak to staff to turn the music down when they were having a party (02:38am) and the door was closed on me. Very rude. 
Food is okay. We ended up eating out a lot for a better variety. Rooms are very basic.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. That’s it.

The hotel is pretty close to the ski gondola which is a plus. It is very clean (facilities and room) and most of the staff is helpful. We also liked the heated pool, saunas and roman bath after a full day of skiing. However, there are some aspects that can be improved, considering the 4* displayed:
1. the food, although is diverse and you can always find something to eat, is of poor quality.
2. we booked an apartment and the bathroom did not have a fan ( it was a small sauna in the evenings). Also, some furniture could be replaced to reflect the 4* standards;
3. the smell of burning wood from the fireplace in the lobby. The huge fireplace in th e lobby is very interesting to see and provides a relaxing atmosphere, but the smell can be annoying sometimes.
4. some staff should smile more.
All in all, if you look for a value for money accommodation in Bansko, MPM Guiness is ok, but don't expect too much.
