I stayed at Residence Kalipé the night before and the night after my mountaineering trip with MonteRosa Booking, based on their recommendation — and boy oh boy, I am so glad I did!

The accommodation is absolutely perfect for anyone visiting Alagna, whether for hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. The rooms are self-contained studios, with en suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen — everything you could need is right there.

One of the highlights is the vegetable garden that the owners generously invite guests to use — you can pick your own fresh salads and veggies straight from the garden. It really gives a warm, home-away-from-home feeling.

Communication with the owners was incredible. They were always available, friendly, and helpful — ready to answer any question and make sure I had everything I needed.

The location is also ideal: just steps away from the cable car and a short walk to the town center, with its charming shops, bars, and restaurants. Plus, on-site parking is a huge bonus, especially in Alagna where parking can be tricky.

Guests also have access to a free communal washing machine, drying facilities, and dedicated boot/ski storage — an amazing touch, especially for outdoor enthusiasts.

Honestly, I’m running out of words! All I can say is: I 100% recommend Residence Kalipé, and I absolutely hope to return in the future. Thank you for such a lovely and comfortable stay!
