Great hotel, staff and service.
Highly recommend. Rooms are spacious and clean. 
Location was brilliant, in the center of everything. Ski out and a short waddle in!

Great spot in town with ski out, yet one minute walk to bars and restaurants.
Supermarket also next door.
Awesome bar/restaurant on site with balcony overlooking the slopes for that post ski beer.
Sauna/steam room however be aware that this has to be booked for private sessions with reception.
Ski room is not heated but very handy otherwise.
Room was cosy with wicked balcony.
We loved our stay and would definitely be back!
Our only gripes would be a lack of fridge/tea and coffee facilities in room, and the bathroom steamed up easily with no exhaust fan present.

As a first time family skiing trip holiday it was made all the better by the fantastic staff. We ate out most of the time and only had the breakfast on the morning we left . That being said it was very nice . The room was comfortable and had everything you could need .

LE PORTILLO is located in the center of Val Thorens, and welcomes you since 1979. This place is authentic and gets family traditions. Do not hesitate to book for a cocooning journey. LE PORTILLO offers lots of services (WIFI, Sauna, Steam bath...), And has a bar, a lounge and a delicious French restaurant at your disposal. Opened for winter season only, from beginning of November until end of April.
