Recently stayed at the Hotel Spik for 4 nights, great location, good facilities both in the room and the on site spa.  Very quiet and relaxing stay, newly refurbished room was well appointed.

Buffet dinner was well cooked and tasty, but slightly limited on choices, but for the money paid, it was good value.

Plenty of parking and good service throughout.

The hotel has 3* and 4* rooms. I stayed in 3*.
Hotel Spik is surrounded by absolutely stunning mountain scenery and a river runs alongside. The 3* room was basic and would benefit from refurbishment, but it was clean, serviced daily and the ensuite had an excellent shower. There was some noise from deliveries early in the morning as the room was on the back. There is no kettle/tea tray in the room. Inadequate small lift, especially when a group is trying to check in.
Breakfast and dinner were buffet style and usually a good choice, including soup, salad, breads, fruit, desserts and various hot options. Only a couple of nights there wasn't much choice for vegetarians.
The pool is a real delight, especially the jets and jacuzzi.
The sauna is chargeable (discounted for hotel guests) and is nude.
The staff were friendly and helpful at all times.
There is a campsite in front of the hotel with outdoor bar and supermarket, also a Spar supermarket a short walk away. Kranjska Gora is walkable along the river or cycle path.
Overall, beautiful surroundings and a comfortable stay.
