Regarding the location, we are sorry that it did not meet your expectations. Hotel San Gian is intentionally located in a quieter area of St. Moritz, right next to the Signalbahn cable car, which makes it particularly convenient for skiers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. At the same time, the bus stop directly behind the hotel offers frequent connections, reaching the town centre in around five minutes and providing easy access to the entire region.

We appreciate your feedback, as it helps future guests better understand what to expect, and we hope to welcome you again should you be looking for a calm setting combined with good transport connections.

We were booked this hotel by a travel agent so we were not too sure what to expect.
The welcome was sensational -the male receptionist was one of the best we have ever had. The room was compact but warm and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and I would recommend that you make that part of your package. Downside? Its MILES from anywhere. So if you don't mind being a 20-25 minute walk from town then stay here.  We were disappointed with the location. Other than that it was nice.

Very good and comfortable hotel. Paul at reception is really nice and has excellent recommendations on things to do and where to go in the area. The hotel gives you a transport card that covers all cable cars and public transport in the area and that saved us a lot of money. The hotel is located close to the lake but further than st Moritz village itself. Perfect location away from the noise but close enough by public transport.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to read that your experience in St. Moritz did not meet your expectations.

Please allow us to clarify a few points: our hotel is located just outside the town center, close to the Signalbahn cable car station and next to the main road for easy access to the surrounding areas, but still only a few minutes by taxi from the train station. While the taxi price can vary, it is usually around CHF 20–25, not CHF 35 as mentioned.

Regarding the transfer service, we would like you to kindly note that this is not a standard feature required for 4-star hotels in Switzerland. Nevertheless, our reception is always happy to assist guests in arranging transport or providing advice on alternative options.

We regret that the style of our décor was not to your liking. Many of our guests appreciate the traditional alpine atmosphere, but we understand that tastes may differ.

I have no idea how this can be a 4 star hotel. It is adjacent to 2 gas stations outside of town. The decor is depressing. No pick up service from train station (be prepared to pay 35 CHF one way for a taxi). It looks like it should be a 2 star. I booked this thru the Glacier Express travel agent online. Be very careful what they offer you!
