Location is 5 stars! The Landmark, located jn Lionshead Village, is a great property. High end furnishings with everything a family needs. Our unit was 1 BR/2BA w/ a loft that had 2 twin beds.  Large kitchen and living room/area with large windows w/ direct views of Vail man. Great staff, very accommodating.

Great Location- easy to walk to the gondola and shops. Convenient locker room for skis. Our unit had a washer/dryer which was great. Awesome view of the town and pool area. Nice kitchen and big table with a view and balcony. Plenty of room for family of 4

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I’m sorry the beginning of your stay felt frustrating, as we know how important first impressions are.

To clarify the check-in timing, 4:00 PM is the guaranteed check-in. On the day of your arrival, the unit became available shortly after that — approximately eight minutes later — and we were upfront at the desk that it was still being turned over. We also want to be clear that our staff did not provide misleading information. What was communicated at check-in accurately reflected the situation at the time. A late checkout was offered as a courtesy for the brief delay.

These are private residences rather than standard hotel rooms, and cleaning time can vary depending on prior occupancy. During the holiday period, multiple arrivals were being managed at the same time, which can impact timing even when teams are working efficiently. A bit of patience and understanding is appreciated during these peak periods.

We’d also like to clarify that the explanation regarding unit readiness was specific to the weekend of your arrival. We did not experience ongoing check-in issues in the days that followed, and the suggestion that the same explanation was being repeated later is not accurate.

Regarding housekeeping, towel and trash service was completed during your stay and was handled personally by our housekeeping supervisor. On the first scheduled day, access to the unit was granted at the time of service, including by a guest who happened to be on the phone at the time.

Regarding bathroom amenities, the website lists standard items such as shampoo, soap, towels, and a hair dryer. Body wash is not included in the listing, and if it had been important, it could have been confirmed prior to arrival. Similarly, letting us know about an early arrival or any special preferences ahead of time helps us get the unit ready for your stay.

It’s disappointing to hear that you felt unsupported during your stay. We would have appreciated the opportunity to address concerns directly while you were on property, as speaking with our team members often allows issues to be resolved right away.

We appreciate the feedback and will continue to make every stay as seamless as possible, especially during busy travel periods.

Location was excellent - a short walk to the gondola.

Room was perfectly fine but the service was poor from the moment we arrived.

Our room wasn’t ready for check in at 4pm as advertised, despite us arriving at 12.30pm.  The guy at the front desk made up some rubbish about the room being a really bad mess from the previous guests.  Check out was 10am so that smelt like rubbish.  I then heard him give the same excuse to another guest 3 days later when their room wasn’t ready for check-in at 4pm.

After that, we were offered no help in getting our bags to our room.  Normally I wouldn’t care but it isn’t easy to get bags to room 102.  By the time we got there the cleaners were just leaving so clearly they hadn’t even started until I complained at 4pm.

Despite being told that the rooms would have fresh towels each day and the trash taken out this didn’t occur on the first day and only occurred on the second day because I went to the front desk and complained.  She asked if I had the do not disturb button on but our room didn’t even have such a button.

The rooms also did not have shower / bath gel so my daughter had to go and buy some.  

It’s a shame because the hotel itself is decent - I just wish the front desk guy didn’t lie from the start.  Someone will probably reply to this and apologise and say sorry it didn’t meet our expectations but there was no apology or help at the time.

Note I stay at hotels all the time - probably 25 this year alone - and it’s the first time I’ve ever felt the need to complain about hotel service / staff.

Landmark is always great, clean and well located. The staff at Landmark are wonderful, coming to our unit immediately to help us fix aTV that would not turn on!!!

Unit 401 is a dream.  Great beds and in the master bath there is a wonderful shelf for all your toiletries and a double sink!!!!  View is spectacular!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for access to skiing. Easy access to hot tubs, pool and gym. Free bus service to access all of Vail village and lionshead.
