Excellent stay from start to finish. Check in was easy, efficient and informative, with just enough information to get us settled in and aware of the surroundings after a long journey from the UK. The underground car park was secure, lots of room and automatic doors with number plate recognition. It was easy to get the lift up to the apartment. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for a family of 4, 19 year old girl and 17 year old boy had separate rooms. Although 17 year old had bunk beds and used one bed for sleeping and 1 for “chilling”. The apartment had everything we needed, 2 large bathrooms, wardrobes, it was large, clean, had amazing views, lots of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen had a large fridge/freezer, hob, dishwasher and oven, even washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There was no microwave but I messaged reception and one was brought to us the next day, fantastic service. There was a large TV, lovely balcony and the beds were very comfortable. 
The boot room was amazing, we’ve never had one so big, lots of secure storage, and seating areas for putting boots on, and we’ve skied in France, Austria, Switzerland, Andorra and Finland, it was fantastic. The access to the slopes was great, just over a small road, then you can ski down a beginner slope and get on a button lift. 
A few negatives were the noise from children running up and down the corridors, only late afternoon/early evening, frustrating when your having a relax after a day on the slopes, but that’s down to other guests!
The noise from a near by apres bar, until 7pm each day and a couple of times when it turned into a night club, also we visited over Easter and it seemed the apartments had a few guests that were definitely partying! The start of our stay was very quiet though.

Trysil Alpine Lodge has Trysilfjellet's best location, and is a warm, comfortable and social place to come to. Here you live in the middle of the slopes in newly built high-standard apartments with immediate access to everything in the ski resort. The apartments are close to the children's area, and you will find shops and restaurants right outside the door.
