We take any report regarding hygiene and guest safety very seriously. Once the concern was reported during the night, we immediately followed our established internal procedures. Due to full occupancy at the time, a room change was unfortunately not possible. The guests chose to depart early on their own decision.

The room in question was taken out of inventory immediately, and a certified professional pest control company was engaged without delay to carry out a thorough inspection and treatment in accordance with our standard protocols.

It is important to note that such occurrences can unfortunately happen in accommodation facilities worldwide and are not an indication of general hygiene standards. When addressed promptly and professionally, they do not pose an ongoing health risk.

Please also note that no full refund was promised on site. As the booking was made via Booking.com, the case is currently being reviewed and handled through their official process.

We regret that this experience negatively impacted the stay and appreciate the opportunity to clarify how responsibly and seriously such matters are handled at our property.

During our stay, we experienced a serious bed bug issue. My mother was bitten multiple times, which caused severe itching, irritation, and significant discomfort. We didn’t sleep all night, and our vacation was completely ruined. We have clear photos of the bed bug and the bites.

This is a serious health and hygiene issue, and we did not feel safe to continue our stay. This should never happen in a 4-star hotel. The situation completely ruined our vacation and negatively affected our well-being.

What made it even worse is that we received no refund, no compensation, and no proper support or care from the hotel.

We do not recommend this property and advise future guests to be cautious. We also strongly recommend urgent professional pest control treatment to prevent this from happening to other guests.

Bed bugs ruined our stay
