We had three nights in Villa Triglav. The young staff were very helpful and did as much as they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They provided me with a packed breakfast that I was to take when climbing Triglav. They recommended great places to eat locally. Food at breakfast time was excellent, with a wide and varied selection.

We stayed there for 3 nights and I can assure you that this was the best boutique hotel I've been to. Personnel was friendly, quick and obliging. They told us about their local breakfast offer and it really was delicious. At breakfast you also get free Julius Meinl coffee (it's my favourite) or tea and all sorts of differtent juices. We stayed in a room with balcony with great view over Jasna Lake and the Julian Alpes above.

Nice spot with a relaxed ambiance, solid service, and great facilities for the price point. Really nice location away from the main town and overlooking a beautiful lake, with many rooms having a view of the Julian Alps. I liked the coffee shop and that the sauna is actually hot enough. Small rooms and balcony in case that is an issue for anyone.

We didn't stay at the hotel but stopped by for breakfast. The staff was so friendly, helpful and full of smile. Really made our morning! Breakfast was also really very good and full of locally produce!

Let's get our minus points of the way. The rooms are small and the layout is awkward. Also based on Instagram and other photos we had high expectations that the hotel was in a secluded spot right on a peaceful Lake Jasna. Spoiler alert: We were wrong! The lake can get pretty busy and there's a road between the hotel and the lake. But guess what: It doesn't matter. The hotel's views are still amazing and it is located a scenic 15-minute walk from town. But the biggest asset of this hotel is its amazing staff. Like most Slovenians their English is near perfect. But on top of that, they are extremely and genuinenly friendly and helpful and take service to a whole new level. Breakfast is amazing. A huge spread of anything your heart (or stomach) may desire, plus eggs made to order. Food allergies can be catered for. The pool is indoor, but really nice, and guess what: It has that uninterrupted view of the lake and the mountains!
