If you don’t want to leave on the last day , that is a statement.
Totally relaxed and spacious and luxury wellness combined with Austrian hospitality and perfect service.
It’s not a party place it’s relaxing and fine dining in the evening, so perfect for a 3-5 nights summer retreat. We will come back. Price is on  high level , so if you are out most of the day it is a pure luxury. If you spent 4-5 hours out and use the facility otherwise it is a good investment. Super friendly and professional service from the owner family and all their staff.

Stunning wellness resort in the Lungau region of Austria.  It was the most wonderful 8 days among the many sauna, steam and swimming facilities on site.  Family-run for generations and the managers and staff made us feel like we were members of their family.  Among the guests, not an American in sight which made the whole experience so genuine in every way.  Three daily meals were exceptional with my favorite being the extraordinary breakfasts with homemade smoothies, omelets, granolas, fresh squeezed juices, coffees, etc.  Fitness classes for yoga, stretching, aquatics, etc. are all available and complimentary for guests.  Organized hikes to different places every day.  Bikes available next door enabled me to visit several neighboring villages as well as an evening festival-opening concert by members of the Vienna and Salzburg symphonies at an ancient cathedral six km away.

Our family were invited to this resort by my son's in-laws who are from Germany and had been visiting this resort for the last 30+ summers.  My informed impression is that this wellness resort is not just "off the beaten path", it is completely undiscovered by American families.

Lastly, when I say the staff is extraordinary in every way, I really mean it.  Most have been at this resort for over 10 years and the owner family was on site for our entire stay.  After several days, even as a new guest, you get to know all the staff on a first name basis and feel very much like you have joined their family.  Any guest request generates an immediate response and as the staff gets familiar with your preferences, every potential request is anticipated and met with helpful suggestions.  The level of service is really extraordinary and is what sets this resort apart from most every place I have stayed.

This hotel has very large rooms with big bathrooms, excellent swimming pools (yes more than one: indoor, outdoor, "natural pond", jacuzzi, salt water...), a gym room with all machine you need, and a spa with sauna, "ice cave". The breakfast is sumptuous. On the other hand, the hotel is very big and can be crowded  in vacation seasons and the dinner has a limited number of choices. Price aligned with four-star hotel on tourist/ski area.
