Best time to ski in Wagrain

There are heaps of sunny slopes in the Snow Space region. Plus, with 85% artificial snow coverage and a lofty altitude, a white veil is maintained on the slopes throughout the season. Happy days! The lifts open in December and close early April. And fresh dumps of powder are most frequent in January and February. Want to see the pros in action? The Snow Space events calendar is brimming with activity all year round. Highlights include the Flachau FIS Ski World Cup in January and the CEV Snow Volleyball European Championships in March.

Fancy a day off the slopes? There’s plenty to do in Wagrain and nearby resorts. The kids can make a splash on the turbo slides at Water World while you chill in the alpine sauna or herbal steam bath.
