Les Menuires is one of those resorts that have really gone the extra mile in developing alternative activities. Indoors there’s squash, swimming (speedos only), fitness classes, basketball, table-tennis and a cinema. On the mountain one can go glamping in an alpine tent, have dinner in an alpine hut, meet a traditional farmer, go hiking but if that’s too sedate, there’s ski-touring, paragliding, a rail luge and tobogganing. Relax afterwards with a massage at a spa in town.
As far as après goes, Les Menuires is considered a bit quieter than its more raucous neighbours but there’s still an abundance of pubs, cocktail bars and discos to party the night away.
