Best time to ski in Vallorcine

Despite being the hidden gem of the Chamonix Valley, Vallorcine is one of the most snow-sure villages in the region, thanks to its decent altitude and proximity to the Pennine Alps. Plus, with access to the vast Chamonix playground, you'll find good snow on higher slopes from December to April. January and February tend to get the biggest dumps of fresh powder. But if you want to avoid crowds during peak times, Vallorcine is a safe bet. Unwind amongst pristine, untouched mountain scenery and enjoy a more relaxed vibe in this remote hideaway. Bliss!

Vallorcine is all about peace, quiet and unspoilt nature, and if cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or winter hiking are your thing, there are plenty of scenic trails to explore in and around Vallorcine.
